Letter from the Senior Vice President
Dear Principal,
This issue of our Ripple newsletter contains relevant updates and articles regarding the present situation in our country and our business with regards to COVID. The pandemic is far from over with more contagious variants of the virus emerging. Despite this, we at Jebsen PTC continue to learn how to adapt and do what needs to be done in order to keep the business and the maritime industry afloat.
We continue to remain focused in ensuring our crew at sea and our employees in our offices are safe and healthy by continuously following all government guidelines and health protocols where we operate. Our vaccination program in partnership with the local government is ongoing. COVID-19 vaccines are now provided not only for our crew but also to our employees and their household members. Jebsen PTC is already included in the list of manning agencies in the vaccination portal of the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA). Further to this, to help you and our global maritime professionals, we have been intensifying our recruiting efforts with consistent online virtual job fairs over the past couple of months and training of maritime professionals to meet present as well as long-term manpower requirements.
