On February 3, the Family and Crew Relations (FCR) Team conducted their ‘New Year, New Me’ Kickoff Activity for Jebsen PTC Global Maritime Professionals and their allottees at McDonald’s in Macapagal, Pasay City. The event was well-attended, with the FCR Team welcoming around 76 Jebsen PTC GMPs and their allottees. The main objective of the kickoff was for the team to introduce themselves to the attendees and build stronger relationships that foster camaraderie within the Jebsen PTC community.
As part of the program, the team also introduced the company to new GMPs and allottees, providing an orientation to the various programs and activities that FCR has in store for the convenience and improvement of the lives of GMPs and their allottees. Programs such as Life skills seminars and counselling are available to demonstrate the culture of care for the GMPs and their families. The Vinta Mobile app was also briefly discussed to familiarize the attendees with its convenient features, such as checking pay slips and statutory contributions of GMPs.
Being part of a conglomerate, the attendees were also introduced to First Maritime Credit Corp., an affiliate company that provides cash assistance to bona fide Jebsen PTC GMPs. Ashley of FMCC provided a brief introduction to the company and offered special discounts to the attendees.
The ‘New Year, New Me’ Kickoff was an interactive activity that sought participation from the GMPs and allottees in attendance. There were not only fun games but also sharing of experiences among fellow attendees, where they relayed their shared struggles on board while their loved ones were on shore and the goals they have for their families as the driving force of the hardships and sacrifices.
Food was provided, and a raffle added joy to the first activity conducted by the FCR team for the year. Jebsen PTC GMPs and allottees have a lot to look forward to as more activities are planned for them throughout the year.
