The Greatest Maritime Professional 2025 Seafarers Christmas Party

The Jebsen PTC 2025 Seafarers Christmas Party was held on November 21 at the Le Pavillon Event Hall in Pasay, attended by more than 600 crew members and their families. This year’s theme, inspired by The Greatest Showman, celebrated the bravery, dedication, and hard work of our seafarers who truly are the world’s Greatest Maritime Professionals.

 

Principals in attendance included Tonny Sordal and Martine Hoem from OJOS; Erik Mohn, Angelica Mejia, Capt. Genghiz Serfedin, Knut Havn, Ellen Ingdal, and Madeleine Schumann from Stødig; Bjorn Bijma, Allan Donnelly, Sandy Herriot, Rory Cunningham, Peppe Colandrea, and David Collis from CSL; Kiyokazu Hisamoto from Hisamoto; Emrah Durhan and Natalia Gorbaczewska from Poseidon; Anna Fioole from HJH Crewing; Capt. Jesus Tomagan from Soki Kisen; and Desiree Anne Perez and Lyle Vincent Villena from Eastaway.

 

The event opened with a theme-setter video that set the tone for the evening, followed by a high-energy performance of The Greatest Show by Gian Magdangal, accompanied by dancers, acrobats, a unicyclist, and stilt walkers.

 

One of the highlights of the evening was the parade of loyalty awardees. A total of 35 awardees were present: 22 10-year awardees known as The Rising Stars, 7 15-year awardees known as The Drivers of Commitment and Growth, 4 20-year awardees known as The Maritime Mainstays, and 1 25-year awardee known as The Greatest Maritime Professional. As they walked onstage, they were serenaded with A Million Dreams performed by Rommel Roman, one of Jebsen PTC’s homegrown talents. Overall, this year’s loyalty awardees total 118, consisting of 68 for 10 years, 38 for 15 years, 11 for 20 years, and 1 for 25 years, Mr. Leonilo Hembra.

 

The event was hosted by Dwaine Wooley and Abigail Paco, with a keynote address delivered by Bjorn Jebsen, Chairman of the Board.

 

The awarding began with the 10-year awardees, The Rising Stars. The 22 awardees were welcomed on stage by Thess Lunzaga, Janice Capile, Rosalie Garcia, Anna Fioole, Bjorn Bijma, Micca Escamilla, Tonny Sordal, Emrah Durhan, and Natalia Gorbaczewska. Next were the 7 awardees for 15 years of service, The Drivers of Commitment and Growth, who were welcomed by Bjorn Jebsen, Gerardo Borromeo, Christina Salinas Manzano, Beng Cristobal, Thess Lunzaga, Janice Capile, and Engr. Demosthenes Quiñones.

 

Three 20-year awardees, The Maritime Mainstays, were then recognized. They were Mr.  Robert Gardon, Mr. Eulogio Livy Jara, and Mr. Emerito Visto Salarda. Joining them on stage were Bjorn Jebsen, Gerardo Borromeo, Christina Salinas Manzano, Beng Cristobal, Thess Lunzaga, and Janice Capile.

 

The 25-year awardee, The Greatest Maritime Professional, Mr. Leonilo Hembra, was then honored. He was joined on stage by senior company leaders, followed by a tribute AVP and his acceptance speech.

 

After the awarding, guests enjoyed dinner along with special performances by Rommel Roman, KC del Carmen, and Gian Magdangal. Minor raffle winners were shown onscreen, and the Best Dressed male and female attendees were also awarded.

 

The major raffle draw followed, with prizes including gift certificates, LED TVs, and appliances. The grand prize, worth over 200,000 pesos, was sponsored by DreamSmileLabs and featured a complete set of DreamAlign MemoryFit FT Clear Aligners.

 

Beng Cristobal, President of Jebsen PTC Maritime Inc., delivered the closing message. A same-day edit video of the event highlights was then shown.

 

The night ended with a vibrant ensemble performance of Come Alive led by Gian Magdangal, bringing the celebration to an energetic and joyful close
